The Retreat

How can we benefit those who have passed away as well as ourselves at times of the transition we call death?

For this purpose Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche has given the empowerment for Korwa Dongdruk – He Who Churns the Depths of Saṃsāra, a practice of red Avalokiteshvara. But when the time of need arises, few have the training and confidence to perform it.

Chris Jay - senior meditation instructor under Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche - will teach this ritual for guiding the dead. This is a rare opportunity and places are limited. Participation is open to all who have received the empowerment wherever they live.

Applicants should feel committed to becoming a resource for performing this practice within their local dharma community.
